💖 Discover the profound impact of opening your home and heart! Read how the Purdy Family's journey with our Colombia Hosting Program transformed their lives and led to a lifetime of love. 🇨🇴

"After hosting Ukrainian children, our family felt drawn to host from Colombia, choosing a 13-year-old through Frontier Horizon. We instantly connected with Danna, creating memories like mini-golfing, visiting waterparks, and a trip to Chicago. Simple joys at home included decorating gingerbread houses and laughter-filled games.

As our time together neared its end, Danna and our children expressed a desire for her to stay. We quietly began the adoption process. Despite tearful goodbyes when she returned to Colombia, we reunited in Bogotá 14 months later. Now home in the US, we're thrilled to have Danna officially as part of our family.

Hosting is transformative, introducing a child to your culture, family, and faith. It's a chance to show unconditional love and perhaps provide a forever home.

If you're considering hosting, this summer could be your opportunity to change a child's life and enrich your own. It's challenging but incredibly rewarding."

An update on our team trip to Nicaragua from board member, Michael Brady.

I’m down here in Nicaragua working with the children Frontier Horizon supports. The highlight yesterday was the Juan Pablo orphanage.

The kids are young, 3 to 6 years old, and we had a pinata with music, which was a lot of fun. Every child had their opportunity to take some whacks on the pinata before I had to finish it off for them. Candy all over the floor with kids jumping up to grab it. The photos and videos speak louder than words.

And then we had pizza and other goodies.

The facility is small but handles 20 to 25 kids. Frontier Horizon recently helped out with a refrigerator, freezer, table, and roof repair. We want to help all children in need, and it is obvious these children fit that bill.

Their faces lit up with smiles. When you walk into a room and they hug your legs, you can’t help but be touched.
