We hosted a girl by the name of Lena this summer (2008). We were able to witness an absolute transformation during the time she was here that we can only attribute to feeling loved and a part of a family. We miss her dearly already and are working to adopt her as soon as possible. As she left in tears, she repeatedly asked us to “watch her picture” telling us to not forget her and to come as soon as we could to the Ukraine. She left an indelible mark on our hearts and our family will not be complete until she returns. Thanks for the opportunity and the blessing! Pictures are with our daughter and Lena as she learned to swim and ride the tube (some of her favorite activities) and 4th of July with one of the grandmas.
